A Little About Me

I decided about doing a PhD twice (first decided “no”; two years later decided “yes”) and have mentored many people going through the decision.

I currently work in Healthcare & Life Sciences at Microsoft (views are my own). I was previously with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and before that was a consultant at McKinsey & Company. I have a PhD in Computational Physics.

I live in Seattle with my wife Claudia and my kids Laura and Afonso.
